Taio, Taio, Taio..... That pretty much sums up the last month! It has been one the most exciting months of our lives and we have enjoyed every minute (we quickly forget all those other minutes!). We can't believe that it has already been four weeks but when looking back it is amazing what we have learned in that short period of time.
Taio has continued to grow at near record paces! He had one major growth spurt where he gained a pound in a week! That was over 10% weight gain in a week! He has been getting stronger every day and loves arch back at look at you when we're trying to burp him.
We've stuck mainly at home where I've managed to get in some good riding and running and Tess and just started so herself as well. First run today of half an hour left her legs cooked for the rest of the afternoon! We did one weekend trip down to Oliver to cheer on Emma in her 1/2 Ironman and Tess has also brought Taio out twice now to watch the Thursday night crit bike races that Peter, Yannick and I (as well as other friends) have been participating in.
With the good weather finally arriving after a wet and cool spring the trick for the next while will be making shade so the wee one doesn't cook. I think you'll see some photos of creative shelters in the coming weeks and months. We are heading out climbing tomorrow afternoon so we'll keep you updated!
