Yannick and the other three Junior Canadian Team members raced to an amazing third place finish yesterday in Italy and the last event of the World Championships. Needing 13 extra rounds but not recording any penalties, the team came in just over one second behind second place Norway, though just over 3 minutes behind the powerhouse team of Germany. (Note that the Germans had taken the top four spots in the pursuit on Sunday). The bronze medal can't be a better way to conclude the last international junior competition for 3 out of the 4 Canadians including Yannick. I can't wait to see the medal!
