They don't love to be held but they definitely love it when we come to visit them and are happy to come over and gently peck our hands and climb on us. Jo Jo loves perching on my hand and he even climbed up my arm to hang out on my shoulder yesterday. They are very comfortable with us and I hope they continue to be! That is one of the added bonuses of incubating your own chicks.
Covey hopped up for a turn on my had. It's pretty funny watching what their little brains compel them to do: forage and find; perch.
