So after much hype and talk we finally made it out to do the complete 7 summit ride in Rossland BC. One word sums it up.....Spectacular! It's hard to properly describe the beauty so hopefully the pictures will help. Just image 7 hour of single track riding with at least half having amazing views. Mix in some steep climbs and technical decents and it is no wonder it is called one of the top 10 trails in the world! We had a good crew of 8 (Tess, Jim, Mark, Joel, Niki, Dave, Nancy and I) which made for lots of fun on the trail and at the campsite. We stayed an extra couple of days to enjoy some of the other fantastic riding and hooked up with some gents from Seattle who were camping next to us. Some steep downhills, more technical riding and hot weather made for great riding. A little shuttle mishap at the end of the weekend made for some tension but we all survived!
