Ramseypalooza and Frog Fest on September Long

What a way to end the summer!! Saturday was a blast with music and more at the scenic venue for Ramseypalooza just west of Merritt. The old Merritt train station played host to nine acts ranging from acoustic folk, modern indie, to the classic Dungbeetles to finish it off. Cousin Theo's band had their live debut, and put on a rockin show early in the afternoon and over the course of the evening many spectators came and went. The station itself is a treasure chest of artifacts from ye ol west, and T and I took advantage by taking lots of pictures that we'll have up soon.

The second half of the weekend was spent surfing up a storm on the Thompson river with loads of other kayakers all enjoying the warm water and abundance of huge waves. I have certainly spent the last day dreaming about being back out there surfing! Make sure to check out the pics.
