Finally got out again, and was able to get my dad out for his first backcountry days since our Fairy Meadow trip last winter. We camped Friday night along Hwy 11 and then got to Crowfoot to warm slushy conditions and even kind of raining. This turned to snow higher up but all in all it was a wet day. Some nice turns were had and new area explored. Mosquito creek was also new, and there is certainly a lot of potential if you're willing to put in some time on the approach.
Also, in Maine last weekend, Yannick took Gold in all three events at the North American Championships. Nationals start in Quebec on Thursday.
