Tess just finished her last University Exam ever and to celebrate we headed to the mountain for a weekend of powder!! Friday was empty, and a trip up to the east flanks of Crowfoot proved to be some of the best skiing of the year. Avy danger was very high and we actually saw three avy's rip out in the bowl next to us!! The closest being less than 100 m away. Well, some safe decisions proved worthy as the tree skiing was amazing and there was plenty for Tess and I to do as many laps as our legs could handle!!
