We also managed to get in a couple swims (Thetis and Durance) where the water is unbelievably warm!! And, a great mountain bike at Hartland where Glen and Nona did a great job of chasing Tess and I around!

Rylan Gabriel Tickner
Rylan was born on Thursday morning at 8 lbs 6 oz (I think?), and by Saturday him and Kara had escaped the confines of the hospital and were home! Tess and I spent three days in Victoria visiting with the newborn, Spencer and Kara, and many others of the Tickner/Birnie family. As always is was full of laughs and good food and drink.
We also managed to get in a couple swims (Thetis and Durance) where the water is unbelievably warm!! And, a great mountain bike at Hartland where Glen and Nona did a great job of chasing Tess and I around!
