So the last couple of weeks have been filled with family time and cross country skiing. Tess and I made a mad mission to Canmore for Christmas with my family and had some great skiing at the Nordic center and up in K-country. It was fun being with fam again.
We returned to even more snow at our local xc club and have had several good skis up there, mainly classic as Tess has had to give up skate skiing. Unfortunately it's been a long time since we've been touring and we're dying to get out there. Roger's just keeps getting snow...It's really unreal, 50-80 cm a week consistently. T and I did one run last saturday at Big White which was pretty fun on some smooth wind cakey fresh snow but had to call it a day due excruciating toes! yes that's right...toes!! anyway, we're amped for this weekend to get some fresh turns!
